All the Ks on the Red Carpet at the Elle Style Awards

All the Ks were on the Red Carpet at the Elle Style Awards 2008, that is Keira, Kylie, Kelly and Kate - in other words Knightley, Mynogue, Osborne and Hudson to the uninitiated - four of our favourite style icons who were winners at this year's awards held in February.

Keira Knightley, 22, (pictured left) made up for her BAFTA disappointment by scooping the best actress prize, while Atonement co-star James McAvoy was named best actor.

Born in 1985 in South London to an acting family, Keira had an agent by the time she was six! But she really shot to fame when she starred alongside the gorgeous Johnny Depp and equally gorgeous Orlando Bloom in 'Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl' in 2003.

Keira always looks glamourous on the red carpet and is no stranger to award ceremonies, being one of the youngest actresses ever to be nominated for an Oscar at the age of 20. So well done to one of our own Brits for scooping this award. PS Keira is rumoured to love buying shoes - sounds like a woman after my own heart......

Diminutive Australian popster, Kylie Minogue, 39, was named Woman of the Year. Kylie has become an inspiration to women everywhere, following her battle with breast cancer in 2005 and her brave fight back to health. PS Lovely Kylie has so far had four waxworks of herself at Madame Tussauds, the latest in 2007 - only the Queen has had more! Doesn't she look fantastic, pictured here on the right?

In the TV categories, presenter Kelly Osbourne took the prize for best female TV star. Kelly is the famous daughter of the infamous Ozzy Osbourne and even more famous Sharon of X-Factor fame.

And Hollywood starlet Kate Hudson was crowned Elle Style Icon for her "distinctive and kooky'' fashion sense (sounds just like her famous mother Goldie Hawn).

The glamorous awards ceremony was held at the Westway in Notting Hill, West London. There were also awards for model-of-the-moment Agyness Deyn and singer Kate Nash. Designer Anya Hindmarch, whose "I'm not a plastic bag'' creation was an instant sell-out last year, was honoured for outstanding achievement.
