July 2009 Week 2
Lady in Red: Katherine Jenkins
Red is a popular colour, think Lady in Red by Chris De Burgh and Red Dress by the Sugababes and you note that for decades, the shade has been a hit in the fashion department.
Katherine Jenkins proved that she knew the power of red when all eyes were on her at the opening of the Ashes cricket series in Wales earlier this week.
The buxom blonde shone in the bright dress and proved that for a show-stopping piece, red is always a hot look.
There are currently scores of red items here at the Clothes Agency for any lady who is feeling like standing out from the crowd.
The Escada red wool pencil skirt is particularly versatile and could be made racier with a pair of super-high shoes such as the Jimmy Choo black courts.
For a fierce vintage look, the Chanel red wool skirt suit is particularly good, with its belted in waist and large shoulders giving a very "now" silhouette.
If you fancy being a Lady in Red, take a look at our range of fiery offerings here at the Clothes Agency.
Emma Watson opts for vintage at London premiere
Harry Potter star Emma Watson has been somewhat of a style smash gracing the cover of Teen Vogue and being photographed by Karl Lagerfeld.
Last night at the premiere of the latest Harry Potter movie, Emma proved once again that she has style and grace in a 1970s vintage floor-length gown.
Despite the miserable weather conditions in London, the actress and now face of Burberry looked refined in the patterned number.
If you want to get a look similar to Emma's, there are plenty of outfits here at the Clothes Agency waiting to be snapped up.
The Ralph Lauren vintage floral silk dress is a particularly summery number and reminiscent of the dress worn by Emma at the premiere.
Alternatively, the Karen Millen cocktail dress is a very stylish piece, which can provide instant sex appeal - team it with a pair of killer heels such as the Gucci Mary Jane shoes and you have yourself an amazing evening outfit.
If you want to look like a red carpet knockout, peruse the Clothes Agency - you are guaranteed to find something you will love.
Brit actresses look smoking in mini-dresses
British actresses Brooke Vincent and Sacha Parkins proved at the Inside Soap Awards last night that if you want to impress, a short dress will always work.
The two actresses were among a bevy of beauties who opted for thigh-skimming creations at the awards, with former Hear'Say singer Kym Marsh, Emmerdale star Sammy Winward and Corrie actress Vicky Binns all showing off serious amounts of leg at the event.
For those who are brave and willing to show some flesh, a mini-dress or mini-skirt can be a great option.
Even short shorts are a great look at the moment, so if you aren't afraid of showing off your pins, there are plenty of pieces here at the Clothes Agency that you can get your hands on.
The Karen Millen black and white dogtooth skirt is a great versatile piece that you can keep brining out of the wardrobe again and again.
Alternatively the Love Our Stuff blue cotton mini-dress is a lovely Cheryl Cole-esque piece that gives off a sophisticated look despite its short nature.
If you dare to bare, do it in a sexy mini-dress or skirt this summer.
Shine like Sandra in royal blue
When it comes to colour, royal blue is one shade that will always dazzle.
The colour, which is just as flattering on pale skin as on bronzed or darker tones, was worn by Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock at a recent event.
Ms Bullock shone in the gown, which was belted at the waist to give her an elegant, hour-glass figure.
If you are looking for an outfit for a classy and sophisticated event, along with black, royal blue is an excellent colour to choose.
Right here at the Clothes Agency we have a number of fabulous royal blue pieces for you to try out this summer.
The Monsoon royal blue evening dress is a particularly stunning piece, which just like Sandra's designer gown is belted at the waist to give a great silhouette.
And, as Carrie Bradshaw would do, why not team the affordable dress with a fabulous pair of shoes, such as the Celine moc-croc sandals which would go brilliantly with the Monsoon dress.
For class and sophistication whatever your budget, the Clothes Agency is the place to go.
Stylish Tippi Hedren attends Hitchcock unveiling
Appearing in Alfred Hitchcock's classic thrillers The Birds and Marnie were some of the highlights of Tippi Hedren's career.
Now, the actress has helped honour the memory of the legendary director by attending the unveiling of his waxwork at Madam Tussauds in Los Angeles.
The 79-year-old was present for the special moment on Wednesday (July 1st) and chose a suitable stylish outfit for the occasion.
Hedren opted for a short black shift dress, elegant heels and a matching bag, complemented with a statement belt.
She finished her look off with a smart white jacket with three-quarter length sleeves and black pocket detailing.
Touchingly, she accessorised with a brooch featuring birds, seemingly in honour of the classic movie in which she appeared.
The lady certainly has style. If you are after a similar look, why not head over to the Clothes Agency?
Among the many, many bargains there are plenty of super smart jackets and stylish dresses to choose from.
