June 2009 Week 1

Stars step out in red dresses
Wearing a red dress is a sure fire way of getting immediate attention.
Whether moody maroon or stunning scarlet, no one will be able to miss you if you are wearing red.
Indeed, in the last few days a number of celebrities have opted to wear the colour on the red carpet.
At last night's Glamour Awards, TV presenter Fern Cotton and Jo Wood both opted for a fiery coloured dress.
Over the weekend in the US, Heather Graham also wore a stand-out red frock at a premiere.
For anyone looking to make a stylish impression in rouge this summer, the Clothes Agency has a number of great pieces.
The most stunning of all is the Joseph James Bivan red floral summer dress.
At only £75, the halter-neck piece is the perfect dress for warmer months and can be worn easily with flats or heels.
The Akris red and black tartan skirt is a great office piece, making any working day brighter.
Whether pale or dark, blonde or brunette, wear red this summer to stand out from the crowd!

George Lamb proclaims womenswear as 'amazing'
Well known-stylish gent George Lamb has claimed that women are luckier than men when it comes to fashion.
Speaking at the Clothes Show London, Lamb claimed that he believed womenswear to be "amazing".
"It's different for guys because you don't need to have as many clothes," he said.
"There has been huge innovation in the way that [the high street] has bought through young designers and even Zara, are doing a big turnover where they can get something from the catwalk into shops in three weeks to a month."
He added, however, that he doesn't really shop much on the high street, as much of it "doesn't really fit".
For designer womenswear, the Clothes Agency is the place to be, with the site bursting at the seams with innovative pieces.
The unworn Anouska Hempel gold skirt and bustier is a particularly desirable piece, perfect for those that aren't afraid to flash some flesh and perfect for the summer party season.
For a kooky vintage look, the boho embroidered linen coat is great for warm evenings and exudes confidence and sophistication.
If you want to get your hands on the hottest fashion trends, take a look around the Clothes Agency - you won't be disappointed!

Girls Aloud style looks highlighted
Despite coming from humble roots, each of the five members of Girls Aloud have gone on to become fashion big-hitters in recent years.
Just recently, the girls were pictured out for dinner wearing a variety of great outfits, all showing off their own personality traits.
While Cheryl Cole opted for fashion-forward leather trousers teamed with red heels and a simple top, rock-chick Sarah Harding went for an ethnic scarf and an all-black ensemble, pictures in the Daily Mail show
Ever-stylish Nicola chose a pale, vintage-patterned mini-dress, while sensible Kimberley wore a pink dress with black leggings.
The look of Girls Aloud is an easy one to accomplish and right here at the Clothes Agency there are loads of great pieces available which can help you emulate it.
For a Sarah-inspired piece, why not try something from the Disney Couture range, like the Green Notch Neck Mickey & Minnie T-shirt?
Alternatively, for a classier, Cheryl-inspired outfit, the After Six Cocktail Dress worn with the Faith Loalas shoes would be a very striking and impressive outfit.
Although the girls may all be super glam and super famous, their outfits could suit almost anyone so why not give the pop-diva look a try?

Matthew Williamson to return to London Fashion Week
Matthew Williamson is the latest British designer to confirm he is coming back to London Fashion Week.
The designer, a favourite of Sienna Miller and Lindsay Lohan, will join Burberry who are also set to show at the 25th anniversary celebrations later this year.
Speaking to Vogue.com, the maverick Brit said that he was "thrilled" to be heading back to the UK.
"This season's schedule is shaping up to be a truly great show of the spectrum of British talent around today, from established brands to young labels," he said.
Harold Tillman, the chairman of the British Fashion Council, said that they were "delighted" that Matthew had accepted the invitation.
"The return of labels such as Burberry and Matthew Williamson will further strengthen the extraordinary showcase of innovative design during London Fashion Week," he added.
This year's spring/summer 2010 show is due to run from September 18th to 22nd.
Currently there are a number of stunning Matthew Williamson pieces at the Clothes Agency that would be perfect for those wanting to celebrate his return!
The beautiful pease blossom floral print petrol silk dress from the designer would make anyone stand out for the crowd and is particularly on trend.

Christian Lacroix goes bankrupt
In yet more sad fashion news, Christian Lacroix has filed for bankruptcy.
The world-famous French couturier has become the latest in a line of recession-affected businesses to have to throw their hands up and admit defeat.
It will now be up to the French courts to decide the future of the label.
The label is favoured by everyone from Natalie Portman to Helen Mirren.
Earlier this month, American-born designer Ben de Lisi announced he would no longer be creating clothes and moving into the interior design business.
There are plenty of Lacroix pieces right here at the Clothes Agency for anyone who is interested.
The Christian Lacroix Tan bag would make a fabulous addition to any wardrobe - and big enough to fit in everything from your lipstick to an iPod!
For those more interested in clothes than accessories, the designer's two piece pink dress is a great summery treat, perfect for a garden party or day out at the races.
Don't be too sad about Lacroix's demise, there is still plenty to see here at the Agency!
