Beyonce stands up for curvy ladies
With her glamorous figure, music-star husband and successful career, many may think that Beyonce has it all.
However, in the new issue of Self Magazine, the former Destiny's Child star has claimed that she has to work at her body to keep it toned.
"I can't eat what I want, and I can't not go to the gym," she said.
"I feel best when I'm not really thin and not really heavy - when I'm still curvy. I really believe that everyone is supposed to be different and whatever is a natural weight for you is usually what looks best."
Beyonce, like fellow singers Shakira and Jennifer Lopez, has shunned the stick-thin looks of her peers in favour of a toned, feminine shape.
Here at the Clothes Agency we believe that women look good whatever their size and there are a number of wonderful items that curvier ladies can purchase on our site.
The Karen Millen black evening jacket is the perfect example - great for a glamorous look, especially if it is teamed with a costume necklace and a pencil skirt.
Another great piece is the Valentino knit top, exactly the kind of knit you can imagine one of the aforementioned divas in!
There are a huge number of items for the larger lady at the Clothes Agency, so go check them out today!
Hollywood beauty admits to being a causal-wear lover
With Hollywood ladies often looking so preened and pampered it comes as a surprise when one admits that she doesn't care too much about fashion.
However, famed beauty Megan Fox has admitted that it is not an area she has much knowledge in.
Speaking to the Sun, the Transformers star said that she's just "not that girl".
"I need people to style me because I'm pretty clueless about it and I don't care," she said. "I wear pretty much the same outfit every day: jeans, flip-flops and a super soft T-shirt and glasses."
The 23-year-old actress has in the past won acclaim for her looks, with FHM voting her the Sexiest Woman in the World in 2008, so it is good to hear that we don't need to turn on the glamour all the time to get noticed!
Those who are a fan of casual fashion have plenty to look at her at the Clothes Agency.
The T-shirts and vest tops section is practically overflowing with lovely casual wear, such as the Disney Couture green notch neck Mickie and Minnie T-shirt, or the Lyle & Scott tee, perfect for a warm summer evening.
Stars reveal red carpet packing secrets
Packing for a red carpet event abroad must be a nightmare for celebrities, you would think.
However, it would appear that is not the case, in fact, packing is almost non-existent.
Speaking in an interview with Women's Wear Daily, Kristin Scott Thomas said that when visiting Cannes, there is no need to grab a suitcase.
"There's no point in taking anything, the [fashion] houses bring all these dresses down to us to wear," she said.
However, she added that she had a hankering for something "old" to wear as she can never "wear the same dress more than once to an occasion like normal people do".
We here at the Clothes Agency also enjoy a nearly-new bargain, and there are plenty that someone such as Kristin could wear at an event like Cannes.
The stunning Anouska Hempel gold skirt and bustier is a sure fire success for anyone looking to wow and if teamed with the Ralph Lauren gold leather beaded strappy sandal you can be bang on trend with this season's colour blocking look.
If you want red carpet glamour at bargain basement prices, the Clothes Agency is the place to be.
Victoria Beckham spends £1.5 million on Birkin bags
The Hermes Birkin is the Manolo Blahnik of the bag world, coveted by many as the most beautiful and desirable any woman could own.
Now, an analysis by financial website TheBigMoney.com has suggested that ever-fashionable Victoria Beckham may have spent as much as £1.5 million on her collection of Birkins.
The bags, which start at around £4,200 for the most basic number, are a regular feature of Victoria's arm.
Hermes' chief executive Jean Louis Dumas came up with the Birkin bag after a discussion with the actress Jane Birkin on a flight from Paris to London about the difficulty of finding the perfect weekend travel aid.
The result of the discussion was the now much sought after creation, which can cost as much as £80,000.
Although we here at the Clothes Agency are unlikely to get our hands on such a pricey bag, there are a number of beautiful designer pieces currently on the site.
The Louis Vuitton Pont-Neauf bag in mandarin is a great work outfit piece, bright enough to get attention but small enough to not drown you.
Alternatively the Marc Jacobs 'current season' bag is a very attractive piece that is big enough to help a busy working woman carry all that she needs!
For designer bags that don't cost the earth, this community is the perfect place - but keep checking back, you never know when someone may put a Birkin on the site!
Vogue highlights colour-blocking trend
Vogue has highlighted colour blocking as a huge seasonal trend this summer on its website today (May 15th).
The gloomy economic climate means there is all the more reason to dress to impress and colour blocking is one technique that will have everyone in envy of your wardrobe in the warmer months.
Marc Jacobs, Christian Dior, Lanvin, Dries Van Noten and Marni are just a few of the designers that attempted the look on the catwalks.
The lovely people at Vogue have given some hints and tips that can help all of us achieve the style without looking like a primary-coloured children's toy.
"Team colours from the same family together for a harmonious look - think bright pinks with vivid fuchsias, turquoise with royal blue," the magazine suggests.
"Keep warmer tones like orange and red together [and] go for a neutral shoe to keep it simple."
Right here at the Clothes Agency there are a number of great pieces that can be mixed and matched to create a harmonious colour-block look.
The After Six cocktail dress would go stunningly with a pair of dark red tights and the Eve red leather boy court shoes.
For ladies that don't want to make quite such a style statement, the Topshop teal sleeveless sweater would go marvellously with the Ralph Lauren blue pinstripe trousers. Teamed with the Libonati navy blue wool blend coat a shearling collar - you're good to go!
Dare to be bold this summer in a striking block-coloured ensemble!
