The Clothes Agency has been working hard to improve the selling and buying experience within your community and is delighted to annouce the launch of the following new functionality:
1. Additional Currencies.
With the expanding global Membership at The Clothes Agency, Canadian Dollars and Australian Dollars have now been added to the list of currencies. This means that Members from these jurisdictions may now view items in their local currency. If Members wish to choose this currency as their preferred monetary value, they may select it by logging in and selecting 'my details' from the 'my account' section of the menu. From here simply select the relevant currency in 'your preferred currency' and save the changes. Note: As a courtesy, current Members from Canada and Australia have already had this completed by The Clothes Agency - so it'll be all ready for you!

2. Make Me An Offer!
To encourage useful interaction between Members, buyers will now be able to 'Make An Offer' directly to any seller for an item on sale that's caught their eye! Once initiated, the offer will be directed via the 'my messages' system and sellers will be alerted of such an offer via email. Obviously it will be up to the seller as to whether or not they wish to accept and their reply will also be posted via 'my messages'. There are helpful 'What is this' links to walk Members through the process.
3. Approximate Original Retail Value
Sellers now have the option to display the 'approximate original retail value' of items on sale and, if completed, this information will appear on the 'More Details' page of listings. This will help buyers appreciate the fabulous bargains on offer at The Clothes Agency and to give them guidance on what individual pieces may cost if purchased new! Additionally this new information will help Members to learn the retail value of some labels that may not be so well known to them. Note: Sellers may also add this information to current listings by selecting 'I'm selling it', then clicking on 'Edit item'. The relevant field is positioned below the price fields and the 'Approximate Retail Value' can be added at this point. Once completed - don't forget to save the changes!
4. New Listings Highlighted!
All new listings on The Clothes Agency will now be highlighted for their initial 28 day listing period. This will help our regular and daily visitors to quickly locate these items for sale.
Note: This does not affect the rotational order of listings being automatically returned to the first page of the relevant section once a successive 28 day selling period is renewed.
5. My Details - Simplified Design
When clicking on 'my details' in the 'my account' section you will notice a few changes! Forename (i.e. Susan) and Surname (i.e. Smith) have been replaced with First Name and Last Name - this has simply embraced the global language for clarity! The 'your preferred currency' has also been moved to the Personal Details fields. Members who wish to choose a specific currency can now find this infomation quickly.

To date, Members have been automatically returned to 'The Clothes Agency Home Page' after logging in - not helpful if you've just been looking at a gorgeous suit and you've got to go and find it again! This is now avoided, as Members will be given a choice of where they wish to go next - which will include 'return to the page you were viewing' - i.e. that gorgeous suit!

7. Item Views will now be public.
In the past, the 'number of item views' have only been visible to sellers via their catalogue navigation, but have remained invisible to other Members. These views are now open to all Members and can be easily seen on each listings.
And lastly,
8) Product Search can now encompass all departments.
Until now when conducting a search, Members have only been able to select one department at a time (Ladies, Gentleman or Children, or Celebrity). Searches can now encompass ALL departments at once, thereby saving time! The 'Gift' section may also be selected, very useful for seeking out the Brand New items for that special occasion!
