Gwyneth Paltrow gives some great spring style tips

Hollywood A-lister Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed her style tips for the spring in her Goop newsletter.

The actress, who lives most of the time in London with her husband Chris Martin, suggested that the best way to be on-trend this season is to "update a few simple pieces that are easy to wear".

A trench coat, a style basic for most, was top of the list, with Gwyneth saying it is a "style staple that will always remain in your closet". 

The Sliding Doors star has undergone something of a style transformation in the last year, swapping from a dowdy, grunge image to a more fashion-focused look. 

At many events, she has begun wearing sky-high heels and micro-mini dresses, showing off her well-toned body.
