Want to save time? Then why not take advantage of the Size Selection Feature at the top of every catalogue page? This will take you right to your size and will streamline your shopping perfectly.
Need to refine your search even further? Then the easy Product Search, is the tool for you! Simply enter 'key' title words, or choose from any of the drop down boxes and find a specific category, size, designer, colour, price range, fabric or even a particular seller or item number!
And for fantastic steals, the Ultimate Reductions is a fabulous place to visit too! With items as low as £5 ($10), there really is something for every budget and taste - so shopping for your seasonal wardrobe couldn't be any easier!

BROWSING:
As a guest to the community you'll be welcome to explore Clothes Agency at your leisure, but in order to make a purchase you will need to be a Member. If you haven't yet joined, please do! Simply register - it’s absolutely free and will only take a moment. Once completed, you can log back in using your new User Name and Password and start shopping right away!
Seen something you like?
Click on More Details to enjoy the full description of an individual item. You'll be able to learn about the seller, their feedback, where they're from, and read a complete description of the piece, along with further images, (which may be enlarged) if available.
Ready to place an order?
Simply click on Buy it - Add item to shopping basket and your choice will drop right into my basket (stored in the left hand navigation). You can do this as many times as you wish and when you're ready, you can proceed to the checkout!
Want to think about it before buying?
If you've spotted a treasure but would prefer to think about it, you can easily store it in your 'watch list' (I love it) by clicking on 'I Love It! Add to My Watch List' - it's available on each listing and you can return to it later. You can do this with as many items as you wish and they will stay in I love it until removed.
Useful Tip: It's important not to feel too rushed at The Clothes Agency, but at the same time it might not be advantageous to leave items in I Love it for too long! The next time you visit, the item you loved may be 'greyed out', which means someone has beaten you to it.. Ooops...
Have a question for the seller?
If you need to Ask the seller a question it's easy to do so. Simply enter your message into the 'question box' at the bottom of the 'more details' page for the relevant item and then press submit. Your questions and answers (as many as are needed!) will be stored in the my messages section of my account - you'll find sellers to be responsive and helpful!
NEW! Make the seller an offer.
Clothes Agency has introduced a new selling and buying tool; Make Me An Offer. This is now available to registered buyers who wish to make an offer to a seller with items in their catalogue. By making an offer, sellers will initiate a new message via the my messages system, placing their offer for an item they're interested in purchasing. Once received, you can respond to the offer via my messages - but don't forget to edit the price of your item if you do decide to accept the offer, so the seller can instantly process their order and payment!

Is the sizing unfamiliar?
As a global community there are sellers and buyes from all over the world. Based in the United Kingdom, Clothes Agency displays it's sizes primarily in UK format. If this is unfamilar to you, then the International Size Chart will guide you to the equivalent in your country.
Unsure about whether an item can be returned?
By familiarising yourself with the seller's Selling & returns policy, you'll be able to see if returns are acceptable - this may make a difference later if the item turns out to be unsuitable and, as some sellers do vary in their flexibility, it's important to read them.
Like a seller and want to see more?
If you like a particular seller's style click on Other items from this seller to see if anything else catches your eye - and if you really admire a particular seller - you can add them to your favourite sellers - that way you'll be able to check back regularly to check if they have any new listings!
What the letters after a seller's name signify.
If you see letters after a seller's name, it signifies their type of membership:
P = Platinum Member. Many buyers and sellers have realised the benefits of 'Going Platinum' at The Clothes Agency and have upgraded their memberships. These include TWO FREE sales listings per month, (and these can stay on selling catalogues for as long as necessary during the year's membership). It includes a 10% discount on first purchase; FREE notification on newly discounted Top Drawer catalogues; FREE gift-wrapping service on purchases - plus much, much more. Click here to find out more!
SB = Small Business. A number of sellers on the Clothes Agency are registered as a Small Business, which means they benefit hugely from the upgrade. These benefits include heavily reduced listing fees, the ability to list more than one size/colour/item at a time, and the opportunity of being one of the many featured items of the day in their chosen department (Ladies, Gentlemen, Children). TD = Top Drawer. This signifies a catalogue that is being presently managed by our administration office, much the same as any High Street Dress Agency, where The Clothes Agency has accepted items on behalf of private clients who perhaps do not have access to a computer. Please note: As of February 2008, this service has now been significantly changed. It does not affect current Top Drawer catalogues. Click here for details of the new Top Drawer Service!
Seen something that may be perfect for a friend?
If you find an item that you think might be just right for someone you know, then you could complete the Send this Item to a Friend form (it's right next to the Ask the seller a question form at the bottom of the 'more details' of each listing) - it might be just what they're looking for!
BUYING AN ITEM:
- So you've browsed through the site and you've selected the items you've decided to go for - and they're sitting in my basket ready to complete!
- If the item is from the Top Drawer catalogues it will appear at the top of the screen. (Top Drawer catalogues are those that Clothes Agency represents on behalf of private sellers much the same as a High Street Dress Agency or Consignment Store). If it’s from an Independent Seller's catalogue, it will appear lower down.
- At this point you’ll be able to proceed to Checkout or Continue Shopping - feel free to add as many items as you like to your Shopping Basket before checking out!!
- When you wish to complete your purchases you will be able to select your chosen method of payment. (If you want to send a message with any special instruction to the seller – there is a facility at this point to do so too.)
- Credit card payments (taken for some Top Drawer items only) will automatically proceed to World Pay.
- Paypal payments will automatically proceed to the seller’s Paypal account.
- Cheque/Check payments will mean that an email will be sent to the seller with your order and you will then hear back from them with instructions on where to mail your cheque. (Please note that payments via this method will only be acceptable in the seller's currency.)
- You will receive an email confirming your order and, depending on which method of payment you've chosen, you will also receive an email confirming your payment (or the address to which you will need to send your cheque).
- Once payment has been made simply sit back and wait for your item to arrive!
You're nearly done!
Once you've received your purchase, please don't forget to complete your Feedback - it's an important part of the community and gives the ability for both buyers and sellers to build their online reputations.
And finally..
To help make your life even easier - buyers can use their my to do list within the my purchases menu. This includes your I love it (or watch list), shopping basket, items still to pay for (this only applies to cheque payments), and feedback still to leave.
