Meet the Seller and Meet the Buyer - (About Me)
The Clothes Agency is a community and, like any community, it's great to get to be able know the other members within it.
After some considerable research it's been found that, without exception, purchases are more likely to be made from a seller who appears to be open and friendly - and the Meet the Seller tool is a fabulous way to achieve that.
Likewise, sellers are always pleased to get to know their buyers and once a purchase is made and an order placed, sellers will be able to 'meet' their buyers by reading the Meet the Buyer link from within their items sold catalogue.
It's very easy to set up - takes two minutes and will help to build warm relationships between both parties.
Simply log in and go to my details in the my account section of the members menu.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the section entitled About Me. There is an empty box there - and this is where a short (or long if preferred) message may be placed that can be read by others when selecting the Meet the Seller or Meet the Buyer link.
Inside leg measurements are not neccessary - so don't worry! But perhaps a short biography would be perfect; Where you live - What you do for a living - Why you're selling (or buying!) - What are your hobbies - and for sellers, Are your items for sale stored in a pet and smoke free environment?
About Me can be as short, or as long as is preferred - it can be business-like, or personal and fun - it's entirely up to each member!
Whatever is put in that box (and don't forget to save it once entered!) - when a buyer clicks on Meet the Seller (which appears above the seller's name on any one listing), or a seller clicks on Meet the Buyer when an item is sold - that's what they'll read.
Please note, no other information is given at any time - so there is no danger of personal details being seen by others. This is simply a way to build relationships and to give a stronger element of trust to all our members.
This is not mandatory - but it is an important selling and buying tool - so don't be shy! The friendlier a Member appears to others - the more likely sales and purchases will be made.
